Get Ready for the Regional Amazing Shake!

This exciting one-day event—hosted by Nebo Crossing Academy and proudly sponsored by the Ron Clark Academy—will take place at 263 Barnes Road and welcomes students from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. The competition will run from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Whether this is your school’s first time participating in the Amazing Shake or you’ve taken part in the past, this event offers an incredible opportunity for students to grow and develop in essential soft skills. From learning how to give a firm handshake to building confidence, poise, and professionalism, students will be challenged to be their best selves in real-world scenarios. The day is designed to help students become more workforce-ready and socially confident.

The cost is $75 per student, which covers all competition events, workshop sessions, and lunch. Chaperones attend free of charge.

The top two students from the event will receive free admission to the Global Amazing Shake, hosted at the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia—for both the student and one chaperone.

Regardless of how far a student advances in the competition, every participant will enjoy a full and enriching day. Those who are eliminated from competition rounds early on will transition into engaging workshops focused on building essential life skills, such as professional etiquette, effective communication, and confidence. These sessions are thoughtfully designed to ensure that every student leaves inspired, equipped, and better prepared for future success—making the entire day a valuable experience from start to finish.
